Fiber Delivered Industrial Nd:YAG Lasers


U.S. Laser Corporation’s entire line of high power industrial Nd:YAG lasers (CW, pulsed, and Q-switched) is now available with a high performance fiber optic beam delivery (FOBD) system. The FOBD system, developed with the assistance of an Air Force SBIR Phase II award, offers unparalleled performance, including high transmission (> 98%), preservation of beam quality, ruggedization, and flexibility. The system is modular, with individual configurations selected to best match the laser beam characteristics to the requirements of the particular task. Components are easily interchanged, without realignment, to vary beam shape, spot size and/or working distance. The compact end effector, including optional coaxial CCTV viewing, is easily integrated into production equipment and robotics. Multiple beam systems and custom configurations are also available.
