In response to demand for a versatile, cost
effective development and low volume production tool for customers who
have multiple laser applications, U.S. Laser introduces the Model 4040
dual laser processing system.
The First Model in the series incorporates a high
power TEM00 mode diode pumped Nd:YAG capable of
operating at four harmonics (1.064 m , 0.532 m , 0.355 m and 0.266 m )
with a 200 watt CW multi-mode diode pumped Nd:YAG. The system design
incorporates parallel laser resonators in a frame and C.D.R.H. Class I
enclosure with a single power supply/cooler console, beam delivery
optics and CCTV viewing system, multiple axes (2, 3, 4 or 5 axes) part
positioning system and PC controller. Changeover between the parallel
resonators can be accomplished in less then 30 minutes.
The Second Model provides a choice of lasers, YAG,
YVO4, or Fiber, any combination of two (2), for various applications,
including cutting, welding, or photovoltaic.
This versatile system provides a cost effective
solution for micro-machining, scribing and marking a variety of
materials, as well as cutting and welding of thin metals in a
development or low volume production environment.
