Laser optics must be kept clean and free of dirt to insure trouble free operation. One popular and effective method of doing this is by injection of clean air or inert gas at a low positive pressure into the laser and optics enclosure. The U.S. Laser air filtration system is designed to filter, purify and regulate shop air or inert gas. The first of three stages is a 3 µm particle, followed by a high efficiency coalescing filter with a .01 µm filter element. The final stage is an adsorbing filter with a .03 µm filter element, followed by a pressure regulator. All filter elements are easily replaceable.
