Laser Rods and Assemblies

U.S. Laser offers replacement Nd:YAG laser rods for systems of various manufacturers. These rods are of the highest optical quality, and are high damage resistant A/R coated for use at 1064 nm. Doping level is specially selected to provide optimum performance in the specific laser system. Rods are available mounted in holders for direct replacement into most popular systems, or unmounted. Individual laser rod performance testing is also available. Because of the large number of different rod configurations and mounting schemes, all rods are not listed here. Laser Rod Boxes

These specially fitted and padded cases provide a convenient way to protect valuable laser rods during shipment or storage. Cases are fabricated from wood, and have a rugged metal closure latch.

Laser Rod Mounting Fixture

The laser rod mounting fixture is specially designed for mounting laser rods in rod holders typical of those used by U.S. Laser Corporation as well as most other industrial laser manufacturers. The rod is held in precise v-block holders to minimize the possibility of rod damage during mounting. A special compression tightening wrench is supplied which will not mark, distort or otherwise damage the rod holder nut during the mounting operation.
